"What a pleasure it was to meet you last night and to talk to the London Coaching Exchange. During our email conversations prior to the meeting I got an impression of your being a very professional group of coaches and this impression was very much confirmed and magnified when I met you. As I said then, your approach to planning and structuring your meetings and the emphasis upon skills development and confidence building through exchanging your experiences and expertise with each other shows an immense commitment to personal and professional growth. I was very much impressed by this - and in addition to this high level of professionalism I was also struck by the warm welcome and enthusiasm you all offered me. What a lovely group of folk you have here!"

What's so 'Super' about Supervision

Michelle Lucas

Coaching Supervision is often poorly misunderstood, with many coaches anticipating that their supervisor will find fault in their practice – telling them ‘what to do’ and ‘what not to do’.

This month, our speaker will explore the collaborative nature of the coach-supervisor relationship. She will help us to understand the profound richness of this important professional connection and the numerous benefits of working with a supervisor. In this interactive session, Michelle will introduce the components of the 7-Eyed Model of Supervision, which enables coaches to reflect more fully on their client experience. The model will come to life through a case study presentation of an actual supervision client.

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand the three main functions of supervision and how this will benefit their coaching practice

  • Learn about the 7-Eyed Model of Supervision so that they can reflect more fully on their work in future

  • Deepen existing relationships with other participants and generate new insights through sharing experiences of client work

The date for your diary is Monday 26th March

"Thank you for inviting me along to talk at The London City Exchange, I very much enjoyed the evening. The group is clearly well run, attracting a broad range of coaches who are all keen to raise their game. I would recommend this group to any coah looking to develop and practice their skills in an open, friendly environment. It is one of the best coahing groups that I have had the pleasure of speaking at and I would be pleased to reurn in the future.
